Colleen B. Wilcox

California Sculpture Artist

Colleen B. Wilcox, PhD, began her love of art at the age of 4 and still remembers sleeping with her first box of colored pencils.

Even during her 20 year career as Speech Pathologist, Colleen spent weekends and evenings practicing her crafts as a painter, sculptor and illustrator of two children’s books.

After her next 20 years as a Superintendent of Schools for Santa Clara County, Colleen found her calling as a Bronze sculptor.

Colleen’s work can currently be seen at Gallery 24 in Los Gatos, CA. Work was previously shown at the De Saisset Museum in Santa Clara, CA. Her work is held in private collections worldwide.

Colleen has served in several art community leadership positions:

  • Santa Clara County Arts Council
  • Chair of Los Gatos Arts Commission
  • Founder of first permanent collection of Children’s Art in Santa Clara County
